Avalanche Bicycles was born in Cape Town in 1992. Our founder, Michael Hirschfeld, has over 3 decades of experience in all things cycling.

Launched to promote his passion to give all South Africans a chance to own an affordable bicycle, whether it be for sport, commuting, creating fun or making memories.
